RaceSelect provides registration, payment facilitation, waiver execution, and competition data tools for motorsports events operated by independent Organizers.

This Policy applies to:

• Participants (adult or minor)
• Parents or legal guardians
• Coaches or team representatives
• Organizers and event staff

2. Registration on Behalf of Others

Registration may be completed by:

• The participant
• A parent or legal guardian
• A coach or authorized representative

If you submit information for another person, you represent that:

• You have authority to provide their personal information
• You have authority to agree to applicable waivers and policies
• The information provided is accurate

If registering a minor, you represent you are the minor’s legal parent or guardian.

RaceSelect relies on these representations and does not independently verify authority.

3. Information We Collect

• Phone number
• Date of birth (for eligibility)
• Team and vehicle information
• Competition history and results
• Emergency contact information
• Signed waivers
• Payment transaction details (processed by Stripe or similar providers)

We do not store full credit card numbers.

Automatically Collected Information

• IP address
• Device and browser information
• Usage logs
• Session identifiers

RaceSelect Live Mobile App

If you allow location access, the nearby-event lookup sends your location to RaceSelect to find active live timing near you. You can change location permission in your device settings.

Push notifications use your device's notification token and the events you follow. Signing in can associate this registration with your account identifier so we can deliver account-related alerts. Signing out clears the app's account link and requests its removal from the notification service; removal is retried if the service is temporarily unavailable. Apple, Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android), and our hosting and notification infrastructure providers process notification delivery. You can manage followed events in the app and notification permission in your device settings.

Choosing Save to Photos adds a displayed race photo to your device's photo library with your permission. This action does not read or upload your photo library to RaceSelect.

4. Public Competition Data

Motorsports results are public by nature.

Names, team affiliations, class information, lap times, rankings, and standings may be publicly displayed and permanently archived.

This applies to adult and minor participants.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

• Register participants
• Process payments
• Facilitate waiver execution
• Publish results
• Send event-related communications
• Prevent fraud
• Improve platform performance

We do not sell personal information.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

• Event Organizers
• Timing and scoring providers
• Payment processors
• Hosting and infrastructure providers
• Legal authorities when required

We are not responsible for Organizer use of data once shared for event administration.

7. Minors

Parental or guardian consent is required for participants under 18.

If you provide information about a minor, you represent that you have legal authority to do so.

Competition data for minors may still be publicly displayed as part of official results.

8. Data Retention

• Competition results may be retained indefinitely for historical record integrity.
• Account information is retained while active.
• Financial records retained as legally required.

We may anonymize data.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls.

No system is completely secure.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data (except data retained for legal compliance or competition integrity).

We may require identity verification.

11. International Processing

Data may be processed in the United States.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use indicates acceptance of changes.
